Rose Kelaa MGOUNA
The town of kelaa mgouna, or the ‘’valley of roses’’, is known of its special Roses. They are very special not like other roses.
They take place once a year; exactly in April.
They are first collected by rural women in gardens in early morning at 5:00 am. Moreover, they are dried for some days and then paced in distillation process.
In order to get one liter water rose, we have to distill ±2 kilogram Roses.
This water was used throughout ancient times in cleaning Eyes, perfume, soaps and creams. These extracted products are totally natural.
The rate of national and international investigators and visitors in the ‘’rose Festival’’ show how this Flower is valuable.
